CrimeWeb

Crimeweb was founded in 1997 and launched as a service a few years later. The technology behind Crimeweb also powers the CNS and SNS sites.  It is unique to the industry and is covered by both issued and pending patents. Crimeweb is primarily used by law enforcement agencies to communicate with citizens about information they deem important – major crimes, missing children and adults, community information, etc.

Hosted, Turn-Key Services
You don’t have to worry about installation, customization, hosting, or any other IT head aches. We can quickly and efficiently get you up and running on dedicated servers housed in our secure data center.

Near-Instant Notification
When citizens register for the service they can select to receive alerts by email, and/or phone. This flexibility assures subscribers receive information via the most effective method(s).

A Powerful Network
A unique feature of Crimeweb.net is that all agencies belong to the same network. This allows agencies to obtain information outside of their immediate populace. For example, if a child is abducted from a parent in Dallas while the other parent lives in New York, an alert can be sent to subscribers in both cities.

Push and Pull Notifications
While alerts are pushed out instantly via email, sms, or phone, notification information is also automatically archived on the web site for visitors to pull down on demand. This allows a new visitor to see what has been sent in the past or an existing subscriber to review alerts online at their leisure.

Extensive Administration Tools
Quickly and painlessly manage the site content via web based forms. Add new administrative users and assign sending permissions. Alerts can include multiple images, and it’s possible to attach documents to both email and web site notifications.

Permissions and Workflow
Grant administrative users rights to add notifications to the entire site or only certain portions of notification types. You may also require approvals of all notifications before they are sent. Automatic subscription cleanup Bad email addresses are automatically removed from your lists insuring you have accurate counts and locations of subscribers

Multilingual Capable
The service has the capability of sending notifications in multiple languages.
